Travel is where most campaigns cut to "three days later, you arrive", because making up three days of road on the spot is work. And the days are where the world gets its texture: the gibbet at the crossroads, the storm that pins everyone down, the wolves that follow the wagon at dusk.
Pick a terrain, a season, how many days, and how dangerous the road is. Each day gets its weather, something on the way, and a roll to see whether anything finds the party. The weather changes one step at a time, so a journey never goes blizzard, sunshine, blizzard. About half the encounters aren't fights at all. The ones that are use real SRD creatures and come back already rated against your party (choose its size and level, or with a subscription it uses your saved party), with a button to send them straight to the Combat Tracker.
- Eight terrains, four seasons, one to ten days
- Weather that changes a step at a time, not at random
- Fights rated for your party, with the Encounter Builder's maths: pick its size and level, or use your saved party with a subscription
- Reroll any single day without losing the weather
