between sessions
Three hours to game and no plan
One button: a hook, three to five beats, an NPC, a rated fight and threads — and it picks up what you left hanging.
Card required · $3.99/month for all fifteen tools · cancel any time
The naive version of this generates five things and staples them together, which gives you a harbourmaster, a vault, a longsword and six goblins with nothing to do with each other. You have to read it before you discover it is incoherent, which is worse than useless.
This is one generation into one shape, so the NPC in beat two is the person lying about the manifest in beat one. The fight is the exception: the model proposes monsters, and the encounter maths rates them against your actual party — difficulty is arithmetic, not a thing to be asserted.
The part nothing else can do: unresolved threads from your previous sessions go into it, so what comes back is not a session, it is the next session of this campaign.
- One coherent evening, not five unrelated generations
- Pays off a thread you left hanging last time
- The fight is rated against your party, in 2014 or 2024 rules
- Review before anything is written — it never overwrites your prep
