Privacy

Short, because there isn't much to say.

What is stored

• Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — the account identifier Google gives us. Not your password; there isn't one.
• Your subscription status, held here and in Stripe.
• Whatever you put into the tools: your parties — character details, and players' names if you add them — the character sheet screenshots you upload and what was read from them, your initiative order, your generated NPCs and images, and images you upload for the table screen. Deleting your account deletes all of it.
• If you connect an AI assistant such as Claude: which app you connected, when, and when it last read your data. The keys it uses are stored only in a form that can't be turned back into the keys.
• When your AI assistant saves something, we keep a record of what it saved and anything it replaced, so you can undo it — for 90 days.
• A count of images generated this month (scene art, tavern signs, NPC faces, room art), to enforce the quota.

What is not

There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts on any page. Nothing here follows you anywhere else.

Card details never reach this server. Payment goes through Stripe's own hosted checkout; we see a customer id and a subscription status.

Who else sees it

• Stripe — payments and billing.
• OpenRouter — receives the text of a request when you use one of the AI tools (NPC, puzzle, scene art, treasure descriptions and the Session Generator), and passes it to the model that answers it: currently Anthropic's Claude for text and Google's Gemini for images. For the Session Generator that text includes your party's character names and levels and the unresolved threads from your prep sheets. When you add character sheet screenshots, the images go to it to be read, and nothing else about your account goes with them. It does not receive your email or account.
• Anthropic (Claude) — only if you connect Claude to DnD Gadgets. Then what you ask Claude about — character and player names, character sheets, prep sheets, saved items and the current fight — is sent to Claude under your own Claude account. Nothing is sent until you connect, and Disconnect on your Account page stops it.
• Any other AI assistant you connect (ChatGPT, for example) — the same applies: what you ask it about is sent to that assistant's provider under your own account there. The assistant can also save to your prep sheet, saved NPCs and encounters; each change is labelled with its name and you can undo it from your Account page.
• The email provider — receives your address to deliver sign-in links and the two account emails we send.
• Nobody else. Your data is not sold, rented or shared.

How long

For as long as your account exists. We do not delete anything on a schedule — if your subscription ends, your data stays put, so it is all still there if you come back. When you want it gone, delete your account and it goes immediately.

Getting it out, or getting rid of it

Your account page has an export button and a delete button. Export gives you a JSON file of everything held about you. Delete cancels the subscription, removes every row across every table, deletes every image you generated, and signs you out. It is immediate and it cannot be undone.
